Andrew Heskett Obituary
NEW GLOUCESTER - Mr. Andrew J. Heskett, 42, of New Gloucester, died unexpectedly on Dec. 1, 2014.
Andrew was born on Sept. 14, 1972, in Portland, to Robert and Tonya (Giles) Heskett. He attended Cheverus High School and graduated from Portland High School, class of 1991.
Andrew was a hard worker, often working two-three jobs at a time. For the last 20 years, Andrew worked for the Leen Company. Keeping himself busy, Andrew always had a project that he was working on. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and was a member of the New Gloucester Eagles Club. He enjoyed spending time at his family's camp on Highland Lake. Above all else in life, Andrew loved and adored his daughters.
In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by his daughters, Kylee Heskett of South Portland and Abigail Heskett of New Gloucester. He is also survived by his wife, Erin (Hogan) Heskett of South Portland; grandmother, Christine Q. Heskett of Portland; sisters, Margaret Ann Smith and husband Jeff of New York, Mary Elizabeth Blue and husband Dan of Westbrook, brothers, Daniel P. Heskett and wife Suellen of Florida, Matthew J. Heskett of Portland, and James R. Heskett of Saco; aunts, Gloria Hodgdon of Florida, Priscilla Trudeau and husband, David of Florida, uncle, Russell Giles and wife Barbara of East Waterboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the
Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel,
1024 Broadway, South Portland. Prayers will be recited at 9:15 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Stevens Avenue, Portland. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. For online guestbook, please visit www.ctcrawford.com.

Mr. and Mrs. Heskett,
I just heard the shocking news of Andrew's untimely passing. I cannot imagine what you and your entire family are going through during this difficult time. After growing up together and being neighbors for so long our paths seldom crossed as life went on. When we did have the rear interaction it was like we were still kids and no time had passed.
The entire DeCourcey family will keep Andrew and your whole family in our thoughts and prayers as the holidays come and go.

I am so sadden by the loss of Andy,It brought tears to my eyes, Andy used to come to my home with friends to visit my daughter. He was always respectful,funny and polite it was always nice to see him.I hope all his friends realize how things can change in the just one moment. I knew Andy through work. I dove over and picked up parts from him a few times per year. He was always professional and pleasant. We chatted about Highland Lake. I kayak there. I'll think of him every time I go there now. I looked forward to our visits. He will be missed.

To the Heskett family I send my Condolences on your loss of Andy.
I have known Andy since he started with the Leen Co . He was a great guy to know , he had a Great Sense of Humor and was so smart . I would often talk with him about business & current events. He always amazed me with how much he knew about all the products & applications that our company handled .
It will be sad not to see him anymore at his desk and talk with him about things going on . Andy was a Great Guy to know if you were Lucky to meet him .
He had many customers that relied on Andy to help them . Those customers who have heard of Andy's passing are saddened and shocked .
I will think of Andy as I travel and recall fond memories when I think about calling him to get help & advice about things and realize that he won't be answering the phone anymore.
He was always so willing to help anyone with anything .
It is a shame that Andy has left our world at such a young age . Our Prayers are said in Honor of Andy's memory & legacy .
