I also worked at L.L. bean with Matt for several months back in the late 1990's He was an awesome guy, as I recall a fun guy to go golfing with as well. He will be missed for sure. God Bless you all... Rick Dunbar

To all of Matt's loved ones, we are very sorry to hear about this tragedy. Our families have been out of touch for a long time now, but as children we use to play together with Lisa, Matt and Christine at "aunt" Sheila's house. My brother Jim ran into Matt and Megan a couple of times at Church and in the Portland area and Matt was always quick with a handshake and hug and checking in with Jim about our family. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and we hope your loving memories of Matthew will be forever in your hearts.

I just want to express my deepest sympathy and my condolences to all of Matt's family and loved ones. I worked with Matt at L.L. Bean for several years and had the pleasure to become good friends with him. Over the years we had gone on many camping trips and did alot of fishing together. Matt was truely a great friend and a great person. I was devastated to hear the news on that day. Our lives took different paths and I hadn't spoken with Matt for awhile but he was always in my thoughts and i was so proud to hear the direction in which his life was going. I'll never forget Matt and all the great times we had together and I'll certainly cherish all the memories.
With a heavy heart,
Jim Wilson
