Renata was a gifted artist and an encouragement always in the Art Department at St. Olaf. Images of paintings from her senior show still haunt me... even last week before we got the news. She was a gift of grace. So many sympathies to her family.

A beautiful tribute to Renata, who was a truly wonderful person. I was fortunate enough to share an office building with her for several years and we had nice chats by the stairwell.

We could not believe it when we read about Renata's passing. She taught the world so much about living one's life with grace and love. My Bowdoin husband and I will never forget all she did for his reunions and our visits to the campus. Your star will shine forever, Renata. Shirley and Terry D. Stenberg '56

Renata was indeed very special. She and Chris became mainstays of our Bowdoin lobster bake in Chicago. I can't remember when they started, but I know it was several years ago. They really did a great job representing the College, and making sure everything worked. And Renata had a great style about her. She knew the importance of taking care of the details while not letting the urgency of the moment overcome her. She was always smiling and welcoming. And throughout her years it never rained.
She will be missed and this year's event will be dedicated to her. We will pray for Chris and her family.
