Andrew Hulett Obituary

Andrew Simpson Hulett was the youngest child of Barton and Donna Hulett -- born while his father was in seminary at Fort Worth, Texas. He loved nature and was a kind, trusting and gregarious soul, beloved by his family and many friends. He could always be counted on to engage in stimulating or humorous conversation.

He was gifted and talented in artistic abilities, which extended to many fields - culinary arts, cosmetology, music, composition, gardening, and painting. Andy was a graduate of P.K. Younge in Gainesville. He later studied food preparation and worked at Emiliano's. He also graduated from cosmetology school and cut and colored at various salons - most recently Salon 716. He enjoyed singing, playing keys, some saxophone and bass in various local bands. His painting abilities were self-taught and came to full bloom in the last ten years. Much of his art had been displayed at Cade Museum and Harn Museum.

Andrew is survived by his: mother, Donna Hulett; sister, Stephanie Hulett Smith (Don); brothers Tom Hulett and Seth Hulett (Tina); many nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at Bronson Road Church, 13830 NE 80th Ave, Newberry, Florida.

We do not grieve as those who are without hope. "For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." I Thess. 4:13 & 14.
