Paul Jones Obituary

Paul Martin Jones, of Malvern, passed into the arms of his Savior in Heaven on Tuesday evening, December 12, 2017 in Hot Springs following a lengthy illness. Paul was born in Malvern, Arkansas to Pat Allen Jones and the late John Paul Jones. He was educated in the Malvern Public Schools. Paul became disabled at a young age, after being stricken with a debilitating cognitive disorder. He was most helpful to his grandparents in their later years.
Paul was a member of the Church of Faith, where he attended services as his health permitted. When feasible, he participated with his mother in a variety of church activities.
Also preceding him in death were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Jones, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Allen, and his step-father, W. D. Knight.
He is survived by his mother, Pat Allen Jones-Knight, his sister and brother-in-law Pam and Ronnie Hall, all of Rockport; a nephew J. L. Hall of Malvern; two aunts, Linda Allen of Austin, Texas and Nancy Pennington and her husband Bob, of Tucson, Arizona; and by several cousins.
There will be a private family service at Rockport Cemetery with Pastor Scott Efird officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to J. A. Funk Funeral Home in Malvern.
I Thessalonians 4:13 "We do not grieve like those who have no hope."
The family extends their appreciation to CHI St. Vincent-Christus Dubois Hospital in Hot Springs for their excellent care.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Faith.
