Linda Godfrey Obituary

Linda Ann Godfrey passed away on October 19th after a brief illness. Born in Red Bluff, California, Linda moved to Marin in her early twenties. The mother of four children, one with special needs, Linda waited to continue her education at Dominican College and then followed her passion for working with children with special needs. She began her career at the Center for Infant Development and then moved on to Community Action Marin. Linda loved hiking on Ring Mountain, dipping her toes at any beach but especially Stinson and Carmel, sharing traditions with family, and having coffee with friends. Linda leaves her sister, Victoria Coad (Sandra), her children, Matthew Godfrey (Estela), Timothy Godfrey (Candy) and Paige Godfrey as well as her grandchildren Taylor, Hailey and Chase Falk and her nephew Seth Coad-Douglass. She was predeceased by her daughter Kelly. A Celebration of Linda's life will be held Sunday, November 20th at 2 pm at the Santa Sabina Center's Chapel on the Dominican University campus, 25 Magnolia Ave. San Rafael.
