I had the best brother in the world.
Til cared nothing about our ancestry.
He was all about FAMILY!
As our family genealogy and history guy, I shared my discoveries about our forbears: Anne Marbury Hutchinson, the single most responsible person for the separation of Church and State in America; Myles Standish and Richard Warren on the Mayflower; Captain Daniel Tilden, Adjutant with George Washington at the Revolutionary War's most decisive Battle of Trenton; several of the Magna Carta sureties; that we join Queen Elizabeth's line at Charlemagne, and on back through the 33 oral history English kings...to 1300 B.C.?
Tilden could have cared less.
What mattered to Til was FAMILY.
Penny getting published in the Marin Independent-Journal, and finishing a graduate degree. Debbie winning Rider of the Day with her pony. Rana being elected Senior Class President. Austin catching a pass for a touchdown. Devin and Macie making key plays to win their baseball and basketball games. Brent being QB of the frosh team. Taking the whole family on a cruise. Dozens and dozens of building blocks for the loving family he created with Penny.
His newfound ukulele celebrity status!
Oh...I should include...He LOVED being Pedro King of Novato! :+)))
Mom and Pop taught us how to love.
Til showed how well we learned!

Til was always rambunctious!
