I just learned about Gary's death today. He and my father were good friends who worked at the brewery together. I worked with him for seven years before he retired and always will have great feelings about him. So sorry for your loss, it is shared by all who knew him.

So, sorry, Joan and the family. Gary, Bob (Wayne) Penry, and I were close friends since about 1953. We learned to play guitar together, chased girls together, graduated from Richwood High School together, joined the Marines together, served at Camp Lejeune, NC together and tried to get together through the years as often as we could. He was one of my best friends and my heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.
