Jim, Conor, and Brooke
We're very sorry to hear of the passing of Brenda. We are also sorry that we found out long after the services. You know we would have been there had we known.
We want you to know how much we admired Brenda for her warmth, her devotion to her family, and her kind treatment for us whenever we painted or wallpapered for you guys. She made us feel like part of the family, and I even told her she was like a sister to us.
We shall never forget Brenda, and she will hold a special place in our hearts forever. We are both glad to have known her.
Our deepest sympathy to you all, and if there is anything we can do please don't hesitate to ask.
May Brenda rest in peace.
Yours,
Rodney Detrick

Dear Jim, Brooke, Conor and Zellner and Carlen families,
Take us back to our wonderful days at Kutztown U. and our place on White Oak Street. Jim, my mom shared the heart-breaking news about Brenda when she was just here in NC for a visit. I'm sure words cannot express how numb you must feel. I'm fortunate to have been one of Brenda's housemates and friends with our friendship starting at K.U. So many happy memories are in my heart of good times shared together. I can still see her smiling in her cheerleading uniform! Brenda's smile, laughter and kindness will always live on. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time and always. Keep the happy memories alive in your hearts and Brenda will always be with you. God bless you all.
Love,
Sue, Jan, Keith & Danielle Williams

We never met, yet you touched so many by your prayers and support for the people that God is touching through the Segera Mission in Kenya, Africa. Only eternity will tell of all you did, not just through our mission but through so much of your work elsewhere as well.
We pray that God's presence will be extra real at this time to James and the children. You however, have finally seen "Him" face to face, and I am certain you have already heard "Him" say - "Well done, though good and faithful servant!"
I trust we'll meet on the other side! Your love and presence here remains for those who you continue to touch, even though you've left this world for Heaven's reward.
You and your family are loved!

Jim,
It’s been a long time. Since 12th grade I suspect. But Dave Hallman shared this unfortunate news and I wanted to express my deepest condolences to your and your children. You have been blessed with many things in your life and I know this is not one of them. But, I suspect God and Brenda will continue to smile upon Conor, Brooke and you for a long time to come. My family’s thought and prayers are with you.
Kind Regards,
Jim Noll

The Zellner Family,
We never officially met throughout the many years at Hopewell, but our family would always see your family in passing at all the sporting events that our children were involved in (soccer, baseball, etc) and provide a kind "hello". It wasn't until the spring basketball sessions that Conor and my son Ryan attended when I met Brenda through mutual friends in the community. I grew fond of her good nature, kind spirit and ever-caring smile. During the short time that I spoke with her, it was obvious that her life was filled with the love for her children and husband.
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family as you journey through this overwhelming and difficult challenge that you must face. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
May God Bless You.

Lynn & Bob and Families,
Although I didn't know Brenda, my heart goes out to all of you in this time of sorrow and I extend my deepest sympathy. Such a young woman to lose her life to such a horrible disease but at the same time she is in a much better off place and without pain and/or discomfort.
It is not for us to ask why Brenda was taken away from her beloved family but God always has a plan and that we need to accept despite the sadness it brings to us. This I know for I've walked in those shoes. God Bless you all in this difficult time.
Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
