I was thinking about dear Carole as I was looking at Facebook today and how I am frequently reminded about the many comments she made over the years on my posts. She always said the right thing and her messages were full of humor. I recall how much she treasured holidays and looked forward to being with her family and her beloved grandchildren. At the office, she would often relate some achievement of her grandchildren and beam with pride in her telling.
I miss Carole and her Irish humor and am comforted by the thought that she is with the Lord above smiling down on us always.
We were blessed by having known her.

My thoughts and prayers going up for Carole“s family. I met Carole during my decades of working at LANTA. She was a very sweet woman. We used to have many laughs. One day we got to talking about her children she mentioned she had a son with the last name Dreisbach. I told her that was my family name on my mothers side. I told her we might be related. I always wondered if we were related. I know she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Until we meet again.. R.I.P. Carole

I was so very shocked and saddened when I learned of Carole's passing. My sympathies to the Duffy family who I know will miss her dearly.
We were both retired from LANTA and kept in touch but she never mentioned her illness. It was so typical of Carole not to burden others with her challenges.
She was a colleague of mine at LANTA - the Lehigh and Northampton Transporation Authority. We worked together for several decades and became friends. I was her "boss" for a while but, of course, she simply allowed me to think I was in charge. She knew how to do her job well and tolerated me to give her advice as to how it should be done. I never questioned her abilities or her capacity to perform her tasks.
She was kind, honest, and a true Christian in her concern for others and helped everyone that it was in her power to help.
I particularly remember how kind and considerate she was to my son, Chris, who worked at LANTA briefly. Long after he left, she asked about him and expressed her hope that he was doing well.
Carole had a great sense of humor and it seems to me every conversation that we had ended with a laugh or smile.
I valued her counsel and wisdom and will never forget her kindness and patience with me as we worked in service to the public.
Rest in peace, Carole. I have no doubt, the Lord welcomed you instantly into his eternal love.

Carole was a great boss at Lanta. She always got lollipops for us girls when we got our flu shots. I'm going to miss her lasagna. It was the best. She was also a great friend. I will miss her dearly. RIP my friend.
