Leonard J. Kelly
Leonard J. Kelly, 83, of Center Valley, died Monday, February 12, 2007 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Marion D. (Drozdowski) Kelly, who died May 11, 2002. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. on July 24, 1923, he was the son of James and Victoria (Paveletz) Kelly. Len owned and operated the former Marion Kelly Candies and Towne House Motel, both in Coopersburg. He served his country honorably during World War II in the Army and was member of St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Limeport. Survivors: Daughters, Ann Marie, wife of Salvadore J. Mint, of Center Valley, Barbara J., wife of Rennis W. Reitz, of Coopersburg; son, Leonard J. Kelly Jr. and his wife, Donna C., of Germansville; three grandchildren, Victoria Frystack, Priscilla Mint, Rennis W. Reitz II. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 8-9 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2007 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. The service will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services in Calvary Cemetery, Limeport, Upper Saucon Township. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: www.heintzelmanfh.com.
