Louis Joseph Sitko
Louis Joseph Sitko, 73, of Pottstown, formerly a long-time resident of West Rockhill Township, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 18. Born in West Rockhill Township, he was the son of the late Ludwik and Katarzyna (Matyjek) Sitko. Mr. Sitko was employed for several years with Perkasie Vulcanizing Co., Perkasie and later worked as a machinist for more than 36 years with U. S. Gauge Division, Ametek Inc., Sellersville. He was a communicant of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville. Mr. Sitko was a lifetime member and past president of Morwood Sportmens Club. He also was a member of the Polish-American Club, Allentown, and the Sellersville Moose Family Center 1539. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, tinkering with cars, playing pinochle, and polka music. Survivors: Mr. Sitko is survived by his four children, Cindylou Kohler of Quakertown, Louis J. Sitko III and his wife, Deborah Ann, of Whitehall, Adam Sitko and his wife, Joyce, of Center Valley, Sherry Allebach and her husband, Brian, of Quakertown; 10 grandchildren, Tara Ann, Cassandra Marie, and Myrissa Lynn Sitko, Nicole, Keirstin, Brianna, and Brian Jr. Allebach, Jason and Billy Beck and Brandon Grabinski. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy, in 1986, a daughter, LoriAnne, in 1993, five brothers, Henry, Joe, Steve, John, and Andrew, and two sisters, Lucille Schirmer and Marie Stracka. Services: His funeral service will be held Thursday, July 24 at 11 a.m. in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 N. Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening, July 23 in the funeral home from 7-8:30 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until time of services. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Sellersville.
