Robert Kulyk Obituary

Robert Walter Kulyk was born June 4th, 1949, in Germany to Maria and Ivan Kulyk. He lived in Allentown, PA, and graduated from Louis E. Dieruff High School. Bob went on to serve his country in the Vietnam War. Upon leaving the army, he worked at Exide Battery on Lehigh Street in Allentown until its closure. Bob peacefully passed away on April 12th, 2018, in his home in Allentown. He was predeceased by his parents Maria and Ivan Kulyk, daughter Jordan Elizabeth Kulyk, his sister Irene (Kulyk) Strobl and companion Margaret Constable. Bob is survived by his daughters, Janet (Kulyk) Palmer and her husband Michael, of Westport, CT. Jean (Kulyk) Johnson and her husband Danny, of Emmaus, Pa and Jenna M.Kulyk of Bethlehem, PA. His brother Mike Kulyk and wife Boo-Joo of Texas, his sisters Dorothy Kulyk of Allentown, PA and Anna (Kulyk) Goss and her husband Tim of Grantville, PA. Also five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Service: A graveside service will be held on April 28th, 2018 at 10 AM at St John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery, Northampton, PA.

My old friend Bobby Kulyk, its strange that I was just thinking about you the other week when the last time I saw you was 40 some years ago. Too many good memories to write about, but always good to know that you always had my back. May God shine his radiance on your family. R.I.P. old pal.
