Alice "Faye" Howell Benge, 76, of Marion, passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
Faye was born March 13, 1946, in McDowell County, to the late Floyd Howell and Bernice Silvers Howell.
Faye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her most precious joy in life was spending time with children. Faye loved flowers and hummingbirds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Junior Howell.
Those left to cherish Faye's memory are her husband of 30 years, David Benge; son, Scotty Lewis; daughters, Patti Packett and Catina Lewis; sisters, Linda Yelton and Jean Hoilmon; grandchildren, Brandon, Kyndra, Preston, Rachel, Shantea, Rachelle, Cheyenne and Ty; and great-grandchildren, Gage, EmmiLou, Ava and Ivyonna.
A private family service will be held at a late date.
