Ed,
This is a diffcult time and the days to come should be focused on Mom's love and her spirit that filled us with the fun times and laughter. What a joy, what a privilege to have known such a wonderful lady! We were all so very lucky. God Bless, our prayers are with you and your family...we love you.

When I first met one of Gloria's sons, Ed Bishop, we were in the 7th grade. Not too long after, I met Gloria. From that time on, I always referred to her as Ma. And I can't remember her ever calling me by my name. She always referred to me as Son. I will miss her deeply. My condolences to the James and Bishop family.
