Regina Morella Obituary

Resident of San Jose
Reverend Mother Regina Morella was called home by Our Heavenly Father on December 1, 2018. Her later years were filled with visiting hospitals and praying for the infirm. As a Priest with The Evangelical Orthodox Catholic Church in America, Regina headed The Oratory Chapel of Our Lady of Consolation in San Jose.
Regina was a Graduate of Willow Glen High School, Class of 1968; San Jose City College; Heald's School of Dental Assisting; and College of Theology.
She is survived by her sister, Deborah Harter of Gilroy; her niece, Shannon (Kurt Erb); her nephew, Stephen Kredel (Astra); her great nephew, Nicholas Raras; and her two great nieces, Delaney and Amelia Erb.
Regina was a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi, a women's cultural, social, and philanthropic organization. She enjoyed beading and making jewelry when she was up to it.
Per her wishes, no services are planned.

I had no idea Regna passed until her Christmas card came back this year with "Not Here" written on the front. I Googled her and saw that she passed two years ago. We never met Regina but we adopted Peanut, her sick little pug, and had him for almost three years before he died of encephalitis at only 5 years old. We found Regina and corresponded with her about Peanut. I will remember her as a loving woman who cared enough about the sick, amazing little pug to give him a chance at life. He was a bright light in our lives. We have Regina to thank for him. Rest in peace, dear lady, and thank you!
