Highly decorated WWII & Korean War Vet, dedicated his life to protecting our country.
Ted was married to the late June Pretzer for 40 yrs. Together they traveled the world, made a comfortable home and blessed their family and friends with their great sense of humor & love for life.
Services at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, 10/17/10 at Chapel of Flowers, private burial at San Joaquin Valley Natl. Cemetery.

Although I didn't get to spend much time with my cousin, Ted, I remember all the stories my Mother would tell me about him. My Mother (his Aunt Hanna) babysat him when he was a baby and she was about 11 years old. She told me loving stories about him. Later when he entered the service, she wrote to him and he wrote back. My favorite was his letter that said, "Aunt Hanna, start baking some biscuits- we are running out of amunition". My Mom wasn't a very good baker. Mary, my mom's sister and Ted's mother, baked like a dream. My Mom's biscuits were hard a rocks. My Father taught Ted to drive a car and my Brother adored him. I heard about his WWII efforts and how he was wounded. Although I didn't get to tell him personally, I know he knew how proud we all were of him. It has been a constant source of pride for me to know members of my family served our country so well. Lovingly, Barbara

To the Pretzer family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his STRENGTH , LOVE and PEACE in this time of sorrow. I want to thank him for serving his country to keeping us SAFE and FREE. May he R.I.P
