Claude Lewis Vermette

Claude Lewis Vermette WORCESTER Claude Lewis Vermette, 81, died, Monday, November 30, 2009 at UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester. Born in Brunswick, ME, he was the son of the late Jerome and Sophie Vermette. He was the husband of 50 years to Mary (Hanley) Vermette. During WWII, Mr. Vermette served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He is survived by his brother, Henry Vermette of Vancouver, WA, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Marcel, John Paul and Marguerite Vermette. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday, December 12, at 9 a.m. from the Norton Funeral Home, (www.nortonfuneralhome.com) 53 Beech St. Framingham, followed by his funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. (Rte. 135), Framingham. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
