Our thoughts are with you all. Diane was so loving and wonderful to our daughter Laura, sharing family vacations with her on the Cape during the past few years, sharing family dinners with her. Jon is a wonderful young man, and we so enjoyed his visit to our home in Colorado. Jon and his sister are shining testaments to Diane's love and memory and life.

I first met Diane in 1969 at Emmanuel College. We had a BLAST in college. Boston was our playground, and Diane was always enthusiastic about any activity in the City. She was a fun person, always ready for an adventure. I remember when she met the love of her life, Tom...their beautiful wedding, the birth of her first child, Jonathan, and her trip to China that brought them Julianna. Diane was a generous, thoughtful, and lovely woman. I have always been proud to be her friend.

I am so, so sad to hear of Diane's passing. She was a gentle soul, a gentlewoman in every way - intelligent, kind, funny and engaging. Diane and I shared a love of the written word; she was a wonderful writer. I knew her for only a year but she made a significant impression on me, and I will miss her. My deepest condolences to Diane's husband, children, family and friends.
