Irene M. Bradley

Irene M. (Kustron) Bradley, in her 93rd year, died peacefully with family by her side Wednesday Dec. 4, 2013 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Bradley who died in 2009. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Stella (Szarek) Kustron. A talented athlete and graduate of Framingham High School with the class of 1938, Mrs. Bradley was primarily a homemaker, but had also worked for a time for Project Accept and at the polls during elections. She enjoyed golf and bowling in her younger years and loved to knit. For many years she was a communicant at St. Bridget's Parish in Framingham. She is survived by her children: John F. Bradley of Framingham, Robert Bradley and his wife Susan of Holliston, Patricia Higgins and her husband Harold of Ashland, Michael P. Bradley of Framingham, Janis C. Bradley of Naples, Fla., Thomas R. Bradley and his wife Erika of Taunton; 5 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters & 2 great grandsons. She was the mother of the late Edward J. Bradley and sister of the late Bernice, Walter, Leo, William and Stanley Kustron. Visiting hours are Sunday Dec. 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday Dec. 9 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bridget's Church, 830 Worcester Rd., (rte. 9 east) Framingham with burial following in the family lot in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Fenwick St., Framingham.
