Leroy Quillen Obituary
DAYTON - Leroy Arthur Quillen, age 77 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on January 3rd 2021 in his residence after a toughly fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
Celebration of Life Planned for Saturday August 7th 5PM-7PM at the Garby Big Woods Reserve located at 6660 N Casstown Sidney Road Piqua Ohio 45356
He was born on October 29th 1943 to the late Charley Quillen and Marie (Barker) Quillen.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Glenn, Judy (Sprinkle), Adam, Eva May (Albert), Ted, and Chuck.
Leroy worked many jobs over his lifetime but found deep passion serving others in his roles as a special police officer. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Leroy was a loving husband of 38 years to his wife Ruth Quillen.
His children Kelly (Brown) Lewis, Bonnie (Quillen) Agyepong, Matthew Quillen, and Brittani Quillen, along with his siblings Larry, Gerald, Michael and Robert deeply miss his no nonsense attitude.
Leroy is the grandfather to Brian Nelson, Leejurle Nelson, Michael Nelson, Xavier Nelson, Sydnei Lewis, Keegan Lewis, Dorian Irvin, Connor Quillen, Ainslee Quillen, and Russell Quillen in addition to sixteen great-grandchildren
