CHASSER, ELAINE T. MARGERELLIElaine Theresa (Margerelli) Chasser, 74, of Cromwell, beloved wife of Charles Chasser for fifty-six years, passed away at home on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Spada) Margerelli. Elaine lived in Cromwell all of her life and was a member of Saint John Church and AARP. Elaine loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Along with her husband, Elaine is survived by two sons, Gary Chasser and his wife, Christine of Middletown and Edward Chasser of Cromwell; a daughter, Dawn Pica and her husband, Anthony of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Ann Marie Pszczolkowski of East Haddam and Patricia Murphy of Old Saybrook and six grandchildren, Emily, Brandon, Alyssa, Eric, Brooklynn and Nathan.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 10:00 am at Saint John Church in Cromwell. Burial will be private in the spring. Family and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell.
