Dennis M. Cormier

Dennis M. Cormier 62, of Milford died Mon. Dec. 26, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Cormier was employed at the State Hospital in Phoenix, AZ for 14 years before his retirement in 2010. He had previously worked at Medfield State Hospital and Westboro State Hospital. Dennis was born Sept. 30, 1949 in Milford the son of the late Burton F. and the late Gold Star Mother, Antoinette A. (DiVitto) Cormier and had attended Milford High School. He had been a resident of Milford most of his life, moving to Arizona in 1996 and returning to Milford in 2010 Mr. Cormier served in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam and the US Army during Desert Storm. Dennis was an avid fan of the NFL Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed reading and computer science. Mr. Cormier is survived by three daughters; Heidi M. Cormier of Milford, Jensine Cormier and Angela Cormier, both of FL and three brothers; Paul Cormier of Brooksville, FL, Edmund Cormier of Northbridge and Burton Cormier Jr. of Milford, 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, PFC Eugene F. Cormier (USMC) who was killed in Vietnam in 1967. Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Fri. Dec. 30, 2011 at 2:15 PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. There are no visiting hours.
