John Northcutt Feagin Jr.

Mr. John Northcutt Feagin, Jr., 53, of 214 West Clinton Street, Jackson, Alabama, passed away Friday, April 11, in a Mobile, Alabama hospital. He was a native and long time resident of Brewton, Alabama and a former resident of Monroeville, Alabama before moving to Jackson, Alabama. He was a member of the North Brewton Baptist Church. He was a 1979 graduate of T.R. Miller High School, and a graduate of Jefferson Davis Community College, and a graduate of Ed Reid State Technical College. He also held varied and numerous industry awards and certifications for both paper and steel plant manufacturing. He was a former employee of Alabama Newsprint in Monroeville, Alabama with 18 years of service. He was currently employed as Logistics Team Leader at OutoKumpu Stainless U.S.A. in Calvert, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Charles Clifford (Hoss) and Cloda Northcutt Feagin and maternal grandparents Herschel Angus and Ernestine Hammac Weaver. He is survived by one daughter, his pride and joy, Stephanie Taylor Feagin of Jackson, Alabama. He is survived by his loving parents John Northcutt and Germania Weaver Feagin, Sr. of Brewton, Alabama, one brother with whom he shared a birthday, Benjamin Charles Feagin of Birmingham, Alabama, and one sister, Kimberly Feagin (Paul) Padgett of Brewton, Alabama. He is also survived by two nephews and one niece whom he loved dearly, Olen Paul Padgett, Jr. (Alyssa) of Jackson, Alabama, John David Padgett of Montgomery, Alabama, and Melissa Lynn Padgett of Montgomery, Alabama. Visitation and funeral services were held Sunday, April 13, 2014, at 2:00 pm at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton, Alabama with the Reverend Michael King officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery in Brewton Alabama with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Alabama directing.
