EDWARD TED' TETZLAFF Edward Ted'' Tetzlaff, a resident of Coulterville, passed away on August 8, 2007, he previously lived in the Stanislaus County area.
He was a retired truck body builder engineer. Mr. Tetzlaff was a volunteer for the Mariposa County Sheriff's Department. He re-mapped Mariposa County for emergency services. He rode as volunteer back up as Victor 31 with Deputy Fred Paige for Mariposa North County. He was a master in the wood shop. He is remembered for his radiant smile after surviving tongue cancer. He was twice recipient of the Coyt Hackett Memorial Award for the Mariposa County Sheriff's Department.
Mr. Tetzlaff is survived by his wife, Betty Tetzlaff; sons, Tim and Ted Tetzlaff; daughter, Terry Tetzlaff; stepdaughter, Sheri Croft; step-son, Paul Yost; sister, Margaret Watkinson and grandchildren, Eileen and Julie Tetzlaff, Jeremy, Nathan, Tyler, Matthew, Kyle, and Megan.
A memorial service will be held at Evangelical Free Church in Groveland, Calif. on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
