Modesto, California - Gordon G. Agrella, age 87, of Modesto, California went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2023. He was born on February 6, 1936, in San Leandro, California to Brad and Elsie (Pistante) Agrella. He married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Nobles on June 9, 1956, in Niles, CA. They were married just shy of 60 years and lived together in Fremont and Ben Lomond before relocating to Modesto to be near their children and grandchildren.

Gordon was a hard working successful business owner with a spirit of entrepreneurship. He worked in the building and fleet maintenance industry and also as a consultant. He took pride in excelling in all he did and enjoyed the fruits of his labor by traveling the world with his bride, friends and church groups. A lot of happy memories were made and shared with his wife, children and grandchildren in his favorite place: the islands of Hawaii.

Gordon truly lived life to the fullest through his faith, and his relationships with his family, friends and community. He was an active member of Big Valley Grace Community Church where he had many special friends. Gordon was an outgoing people person who had a unique ability to reach out and connect with others in a positive and meaningful way. He was a problem solver. He enjoyed mentoring and counseling others and sharing his faith in the Lord with those around him. He was a proud and stubborn Portuguese man with strong convictions, opinions and beliefs. Gordon will be remembered for his big personality, generous spirit, and the profound impact he had on those around him.

Gordon is survived by his children Karen Delgado (John) and Greg Agrella (Laurie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren with a fourteenth on its way. Gordon's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 at Big Valley Grace Community Church.
