Marcia Winegardner Obituary
May 26, 1940 - January 8, 2023
Modesto, California - Marcia, Marcy Jo, little sister, big sister, daughter, wife, mother, friend. The petite Emporia High cheerleader started at Kansas State, married Galen "Cube" Winegardner in 1961,and whose journey to Modesto (with additions) was just the beginning of her adventure.
Two of her passions were traveling and music. Mom and dad traveled to favorites England and Wales, revisited Germany, slipped down to New Zealand, and had the time of their lives touring the French countryside, sampling wines.
Mom's piano talents will be remembered by the many students she taught over the years and heard by many more MJC music students who will keep her memory alive on her piano now lovingly housed in their music room.
Mom loved being Nonna to her two grandsons, Colin (27) and Jack (19).
She is survived by her husband Galen, daughters, Emily and Maggie, and her grandsons. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Park, January 25th from 3-6 pm. (2832 Health Care Way). She would love donations to support the McHenry Museum.

I am so sorry to hear.. a little late...about Marcia passing. I have been wondering about her in the past 6 months and wasn´t able to reach her
She was my first best friend when I lived on Sherwood Way just around the corner from Marcia when we were very young. May she rest in peace.
