Ronald Vasconcellos Obituary
May 16, 1952 - March 15, 2023
Modesto, California - Ronald "Ron" Stephen Vasconcellos was born May 16, 1952 to Albert Vasconcellos and Donna Vessel-Anderson, and died on March 15, 2023. He was born and raised in the Turlock area. He was a graduate of Turlock High School, where he played football and wrestled. He was a Lineman/Foreman for Turlock Irrigation district for 38 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering in the barn. He married his wife Sandra on July 29, 1988 and they enjoyed almost 35 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Vasconcellos, mother Donna Anderson, daughters Melissa "Missy" Vasconcellos (Joe Inman) and Alisa Hanson (Kameron Olds), as well as his step children, who he loved as his own, Faith Sunde (Lance Sunde), and Peter "Jake" Styles. He also has 6 Grandchildren; Jeffrey "JT" Yant (Megan Yant), Jasmine Hanson, Emily Hanson, Kassey Govea (Tim Govea), Andrew Sunde (Stewart Smith), Trevor Styles, and 2 great granddaughters Allee Govea and Chelsee Govea.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Vasconcellos and his sister Karen Anderson-Arnebeck.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church at 290 W Olive Ave in Turlock CA. Condolences can be left at www.allenmortuary.com.
