Ronnie Michael (Mike) Bonds was born in Alameda, Ca in August 1948 To Irwin Harlan (Dan) Bonds and Zula Pauline Bonds. Dan Bonds, sister Patricia Combs and his wife Kay Bonds precede him in death. He leaves behind his mother, sisters: Linda Preston, Deborah Bonds (Montana) and LaVon (Doug) Anderson, sons Aaron Bonds and Nathan (Nadine) Bonds, and grandchildren, Seth and Kenzie Bonds.
Mike grew up in the Turlock Hughson area and graduated from Hughson High School. He entered the army during the Vietnam era and served in Germany. He married Katherine (Kay) Beckler; they lived in central, and Northern CA where he did various kinds of work including pasturing several Baptist churches in these areas. He graduated from Humboldt State College with a BA degree.
Mike has been VA 100% disabled for many years and passed away in the Tacoma Washington area with his son Nathan and family by his side. Mike was a warm and generous person and never knew a stranger. He loves to tell jokes and had a big heart for the less fortunate. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
No Services Are Planned. Remembrances may be sent to any veteran's organization of choice.
