On January 10, 2018 Angelo passed away at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto surrounded by his family. Angelo was born in Monterey, CA on August 16, 1944 to his parents Matteo and Anna(Balestreri) Dorio.
He attended and graduated Junipero Serra and later enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp. where he served his country on two tours in the Vietnam War and was the recipient of many honors.
Angelo was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters Deanna and Noel. He was a doting nanu to Matthew, Lily, Andrew, Joseph, Noah and great grandson baby Matthew.
He is survived by his two daughters, five grandchildren and one great grandson; Sister, Lorraine Albert; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Angelo is preceded in death by his parents, Sisters Phyllis Macaluso and Rose Russo.
Funeral services with military honors will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Santa Rosalia Chapel within San Carlos Cemetery. Committal will follow in the family mausoleum.

Dear Dorio Family,
I was a friend of Angelo's at Junipero High in the 60's.We haven't seen each other for years but I'll always remember him as a real nice guy. Thanks for your honorable service to our country. I'm sure he was a great Marine.God bless and rest in peace.
