I met Doug while serving in Attack Squadron 212 at NAS Lemoore, CA during the Vietnam era. He was our financial advisor for many years and visited us in both MA and VT. We shared many flyfishing boasts and exchanged Christmas cards for decades. When we did not receive a card this year, I sent an email of concern. No response. Worried I checked the obituaries. Lyn and I are so sorry - our belated and deepest condolences to Sarah and the family. Doug was a good and honorable man.

I had the fortune to share one of Doug's passions....fly fishing. We made trips to fish the Lower Sac a few times a year. Doug was an extremely well read, intelligent person and I learned so much about the world through our discussions in the car. I will miss him greatly.
