JOHN LAZENBY Obituary

LAZENBY, John F., age 86 of Jasper, died Friday, August 5, 2005 at BMC Princeton. Services will be held Monday, August 8, 2005 at 10:00 am at 1st Presbyterian Church, Rev. Scott Pierce officiating. The body will lie in state from 9-10 am. Inter-ment will follow at Oak Hill Ceme-tery. Visitation was held Sunday, August 7, 2005 at 5-8:00 pm at Kilgo-re-Green Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Louise Hiller Lazen-by of Jasper; daughter, Sheila L. Wilkerson of Wetumpka; Son, Ron-dald F. Lazenby and his wife Nan of Montgomery; grandchildren, Ra-mona J. Wilkerson of Millbrook, Tara L. Lazenby of Montgomery; great grandchildren, David and Xavier Lawrence of Eclectic.; sister, Frieda James and her husband Franklin of Montgomery; bother, Carl M. Lazenby and wife Nancy of McComb, MS; nephew, John Nel-son Hudson and wife Randi O. of Redmond, Washington; nieces, Dawn Lazenby of Falls Church, VA, Debbie Perkins and her husband Scott of Kentucky, Daryl Ahley and her husband Jerry of Torrence, CA. He served as a liason pilot during World War II, an elder of the Presby-terian Church and a retired Ala-bama State employee who served 37 years with the Dept. of Industrial Relations. In lieu of flowers, dona-tions may be made to the 1st Pres-byterian Church of Jasper or to a charity of choice. Preceded in death, wife Macie H. Lazenby and granddaughter Robyn W. Law-rence. Pallbearers will be Elders and Deacons of the 1st Presbyteri-an Church.
