Russell Trout Obituary

Russell L. Trout Russell L. Trout, 94, of Telford, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010 in the Lutheran Community at Telford. He was the husband of 57 years to the late Irene M. (Crouthamel) Trout who died in 1999. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Katie Eva (Wingert) Trout. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII serving from 1942-1945 with the 3rd Army 2nd Platoon - 512th Bridge Building Brigade and moved up the ranks achieving the status of Corporal. Along with his father, brothers, son, and grandsons he was an owner/operator of Trout Brothers Concrete in Telford for 75 years. Mr. Trout was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church in Telford. He was also a member of the Telford Lions Club and the American Legion Warren Royer Post #234 in Souderton. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, baseball and church league softball. He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Patricia A. "Trish" Trout of Telford, four grandsons: Michael J. Trout and his wife Nicole of Harleysville, James R. Trout, Jr. and his wife Nickole of Telford, Bryon C. Trout and his wife Erin of Red Hill, Christopher D. Trout of Green Lane, and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, James R. Trout, who died in 2005, and two brothers: Raymond and Richard Trout. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 12:00 PM in the Trinity UCC Cemtery, East Broad St., Telford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Memorial Fund of Grace United Methodist Church, P O Box 257, Telford, PA 18969. Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford. www.sadlersuess funeralhome.net
