Annie Lou Butler Guy, 88, of Connelly Springs, went to her Heavenly Home Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022.
Born April 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Vadie Butler. Annie was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and a former member of Walker's Chapel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved to quilt and paint. Annie enjoyed gardening. She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren.
Annie is survived by her children, Barbara Guy Dellinger, Kimberly Guy Shook Fulbright (the Rev. Keith Fulbright), Janice Guy Huffman Kanupp (Travis); grandchildren, Dustin Huffman (Sara), Whitney Huffman Kanupp (Lynn), Logan Huffman; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Huffman, Maverick Huffman, Maddox Huffman, Tripp Kanupp, Baylee Kanupp, Arden Cleckner, Crew Cleckner; siblings, Gladys Butler, Clyde Butler; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband. Eugene Guy; brothers, Junior Butler, Stiers Butler; and sisters, Sarah Butler Cline, Margie Butler, Jenny Butler Ramsey, Mildred Butler Tweed.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Walker's Chapel Baptist Church. The funeral will be held in the church at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Eric James officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
