Lawrence Lute Obituary

Lawrence A. Lute, age 64, of Elyria passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph.
He was born on August 31, 1953 in Lorain, Ohio to Larry "Zod" and Mary Eloise Lute and graduated from Southview High School in 1971. Upon his high school graduation he went on to further his education at Lorain County Community College earning his Associates Degree in Applied Science in 1973.
Larry was employed as an electrician for the Ford Motor Company for 31 years. Prior to working at Ford he was employed for 13 years at US Steel.
He always enjoyed history, science, astronomy, gardening, and tinkering with electronics. In his early years he enjoyed bowling and golfing and in his later years he picked up woodworking and gardening.
Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cynthia S. (nee Simo) Lute; daughter, Simone Lute, of Elyria; sister, Bambie (Bob) Trupo, of Elyria; and his brother, Mark (Janet) Lute, of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry "Zod" Lute, in 2011, and his mother, Mary Eloise Lute, in 2003.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 1 to 8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
