Paul proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1948 to 1952. Paul was known for his overflowing kindness and generosity and had an infectious smile, bringing joy to all he encountered, especially those at the nursing home where became known as "The Mayor of Main Street Care Center."
Paul is survived by children Pam Wisniewski (Jas Blaz), of Elyria, Cindy Duerk (Jeff), of Avon Lake, Paul Jr. (Sue Ann), of Lakeville, Minnesota, Bob (Amie), of Avon Lake and Jackie Clancy, of Richfield. He also is survived by 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and siblings George Macura (Annie), of North Royalton, Carol Ferek, of Strongsville and Theresa Lewis(Robert), of Middleburg Heights. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Marjorie (nee Panek); parents, John and Caroline (nee Slesak); sons, Mickey and Terry Turner; son-in-law, Clete and five siblings.

Dear Macura Family

I was blessed the day I met the Macura family, some of my fondest memories are of time spent at your parents house. There was always good food plenty of people and lots of laughs to be shared. Your Father was a great man who only wanted to laugh and make others have a great time and he was very successful. When I think of Mr. Macura I always smile... Thanks for all the great memories...

Love,

Cathy Sue

To my cousins Pam,Cindy,Paul and Bob,
I will miss Unlce Paul as he was a great man with a awsome personality, smile and gentle spirit. I will remember the days when i was younger and our family would come visit yours and the chickens your dad raised and stories your dad would tell us. I am thankful i did get to visit him at the nursing facility though a few times before his passing. He always joked about having a beer in the closet he wanted me to get for him. My fanily and I will continue to pray for you all and I want you to know I will truly miss your father but I know he is in heaven now with Aunt Marge...Love, your cousin, Sue (Lewis) Exoo and family
