Wanda Stevens Obituary
Born September 29, 1956 in Santa Ana, California, she came to Lorain at an early age.
Wanda worked 15 years in the health care industry as nurse's assistant, retiring from Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Avon, in 2010.
She was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns. Wanda loved barbecues, playing Candy Crush and adored her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Steven Stevens of Ravenna, Ohio, Laura Stevens of Brandon, Florida, Marco Stevens of Struthers, Ohio and Laval Stevens Sr. of Lorain; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy; parents, William and Betty Jean (nee Carson) Stevens; a sister, Georgia Stevens; and a grandson, Steven Stevens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. To send online condolences go to www.dovinfcs.com.

I'm just finding out Wanda passed, and wanted to send my condolences. Wanda was my grandmothers caregiver for several years, and she loved her patients, and I will always remember her for that. Sleep in peace Wanda
