Kathryn Belding Obituary
Ionia - Kathryn (Bennett) Belding, age 76, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, March 13, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard "Dick" Belding; three sons, Richard (Lynda) Belding, Jr., Ross (Myrna) Belding and Rodney (Melissa) Belding; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Kay) Bennett; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her cat, Beethoven.
Kathy was born in Honeoye Falls and attended Bloomfield schools. She worked at the VA Medical Center from 1979-1990 and was also a devoted homemaker. After retirement, Kathy and Dick enjoyed wintering in Florida. She was a member of the Ionia United Methodist Church. Kathy enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Interment will be in Millers Corners Cemetery, Ionia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, Ionia, NY 14475. Arrangements are by Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomfield. I was so shocked to hear about Kathy's passing. I met her in Twelve Oaks RV park in Sanford Fl.and we became best of friends, we had so much fun going to bingo, going to dances & playing games. She will be sadly missed, may she RIP!
