Betty Cheek Obituary
Mrs. Betty Dalton Cheek, 66, of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Universal Health Care in King. Mrs. Cheek was a retired CNA from Twelve Oaks. She is survived by a daughter; Michelle Dalton; son, David Dalton and partner Jerald Moon; grandchildren, Gabriel Dalton and Zandy Norman; sisters, Margaret Dawson and Peggy Norman; sisters-in-law, Lynn Leonard and Debbie McKnight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Dalton, and a brother, Larry Byrd. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 19, at 3 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Casey Walker and the Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
