Ms. Patricia Norman Hardy, 60, passed away Wednesday, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. She was born July 6, 1957, to Beulah Leonard Norman and the late Dixie Norman. Patricia was employed at Insteel Wire in sales. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Beulah Norman; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Gary Felts; a niece Eden Felts of Wilmington; a nephew Nicholas Felts of New York City; aunts, Mary Martin, Roxie Collins and husband, Eddie; and Frances Leonard all of Mount Airy; a very special great-aunt Kate Badgett of Mount Airy; and several cousins and many friends. In addition to her father, Patricia was preceded in death by an uncle, Jay Leonard. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Fancy Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service and at other times at the home of her mother. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK. 73123.
