Drew Harto Obituary
AGE: 49 • Milltown
Drew J. Harto of Milltown, NJ passed away December 31, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Rahway, NJ. He was 49 years old. Born in South Amboy, NJ, he was a lifelong Milltown resident. He was employed as an inside sales rep by Building Specialties of Piscataway, NJ for over 15 years. He was a fixture on the Milltown Fire Dept for 21 years and a member of the Milltown Exempt Fireman's Assoc. He was also a Lifetime Member of the NJ State Fireman's and Exempt Fireman's Assoc. He was an avid and proud fan of the New York Mets. He was a dedicated father to his three beloved daughters. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Joyce (née Gilpin) Harto, Drew is survived by his wife Lora (née Moisell); daughters: Allison, Lana, and Ava; brother and sister-in-law Brian and Anne Harto; and countless friends that love him dearly. The family will welcome friends Wednesday 4-8pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown. Services Thursday 10am at the funeral home followed by interment at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick, NJ. Memorial donations may kindly be made to the Harto family. www.bronsonandguthleinfh.com

Drew was alway nice to me.....He was a few years older than me but always made me feel welcome...growing up in Milltown Drew had so many friends..I always looked forward to the parties behind the factories or other parties when Drew would team up with Bob Balachick making us all laugh.....I also got to work with Drew at Ryder's Lane Sunoco.....the Drew I laughed with at parties never appeared at the station.....he ran that place like he owned it.
I'm sure Drew is in heaven talking with Bob and Monk and Matt Murray and Jeff Levin all about his beautiful daughters......his daughters should always know that Daddy Drew will be them all the time and watching out for them....that's what angels do. I just had a chance to see Drew's Facebook page and it's loaded with all his love for his daughters...I never met them but I could see how proud Drew was of them... the pic of him at a cheerleading competition....great example of his devotion for his kids.

Drew was known to everyone growing up in Milltown. We watched him march with the Fire Department every year. Deepest Sympathy to Drew's family and friends.
