Emma Himey Obituary
Somerset - Emma Adelaide White Himey passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She was 93.
Born in Stelton, NJ, Emma lived in Old Bridge for 65 years before relocating to Sayreville and Monroe Township, finally settling in Somerset.
Before retiring in 1992, she was an office clerk for Permacel - Nitto Denko for 25 years.
Emma loved/enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was an active member of the Simpson United Methodist Church in Old Bridge and was a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church Women's Society. While living in Monroe Township, Emma was also a volunteer in the gift shop at the Raritan Medical Center-Old Bridge Division with her sister, Ferol.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter in 1985; seven brothers, Frank, Bert, Howard, Norman, David, Dale, and Robert, and three sisters, Marie Flanagan, Doris Gray, and Ferol Oertel.
Surviving are her 3 daughters, Elizabeth Zanghi and her husband, Peter, Carol Tucker and her husband, Reggie, Pat Cullen and her husband, Bill; two grandchildren, Jessica L. Cullen, and Billy Cullen and his wife, Jessica; two great-grandchildren, Shayleigh and Kaiden Cullen, and sister-in-law, Nell White.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 3:00 - 7:00 PM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 10:00 am, at Simpson United Methodist Church, 2095 County Road 516, Old Bridge. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. For directions, please visit www.BrunswickMemorialHome.com.

My sympathy to your families.
We worked together for years at Permacel. She was my 2nd Mom and I loved her dearly. Some of the best memories of my family vacations was at"Emma´s Trailer"!
As she let me use it every summer. She was a wonderful women who was such a big part of my life.
