Florence "Ruth" Bailey

Florence "Ruth" Bailey, age 91, passed away on December 3, 2020 at RBMC, Perth Amboy. Born in Sayreville, she was a lifelong resident of the Borough. Ruth was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church, Sayreville. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Sayreville Seniors Tuesday Club as well as the Knitwits Knitting Club. She will fondly be remembered for her love of spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her proficiency in baking - no one could make a pie like Gma.

She is predeceased by her husband John Bailey who passed away in 1978. Surviving are her children, Linda and her husband, Robert Lindemann of South River, Diane Bailey, and Thomas "Beetle" Bailey of Sayreville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Evan, and his wife Emily Lindemann of South River and Abigail and her husband Julian Turcotte of Helmetta, her great grandchildren William, Madeline and Adrian, along with her siblings James Prusarczyk of Sayreville and Patricia Rysinski of Morgan, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday 11am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 main St Sayreville, NJ 08872. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 9am to 11am.

Due to current Covid 19 restrictions, please note that a maximum of 50 visitors will be allowed in the funeral home at once and masks must be worn at all times. We encourage visitors to limit their time in the building to allow the family the maximum number of guests possible.
