Dorothy and Diane- Though I hadnt realized we were at the anniversary of your Dads passing until I received a notification, he has recently been on my mind. I was transcribing a book of my Dads memoirs to share with family members. Your Dads name was often mentioned- he and my Dad created their own board games- often complicated. They built a 3-story club house on the second floor of the barn at my Dads house part of which was still in place till the day I sold the house after my parents passed on. My Dad wrote that they were always at each others houses. Always, I will remember hearing both my Dad and yours referring to each other as each others Best Friend. Im sure youre missing your Dad as much as Im still missing mine. God Bless!

Dorothy and Diane- on behalf of the Cox family please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I spoke to your Dad four and a half years ago when our Dad went to be with the Lord and he said "Your Dad was my best friend!" They always sent each other postcards when they traveled --with the last line always being "wish you were here" And then crossed it out, as a joke. We are thinking that they are now together -- and don't need to cross it out anymore. Though our fathers' children never got to know each other very well, your family has always held a special place in our memories Both the stories are Dad would tell about his childhood with your father, and all the cookies your grandmother sent to our home at Christmaswe are praying for you--The Cox family-Janice C. Trautman, Bill Cox, Jr, Joann C. Cahoon and Julieann C. Allen
