Jay Pfauth Jr., age 22 years, of Readington, NJ passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ he was the son of Catherine and Jay Pfauth, Readington, NJ. Brother to Danielle Pfauth, Amanda Pfauth and Justin Pfauth. He attended Hunterdon Central High School and graduated in 2011. After graduating high school, Jay Jr. entered the United States Marine Corps. During his time in service, he was a Corporal and was deployed to Spain. While in Spain, he was attached to the Secretary of the Navy security detail.

He enjoyed working out, cars, motorcycles, quads, movies, video games, music, spending time with his girlfriend, family and friends. He aspired to attend college and become an accountant. He will be remembered for his compassion, courage, strength, determination and sense of humor.

In addition to his parents and siblings, he was also survived by his maternal and paternal grandparents; Barbara and Charles Goodyear of Raritan, NJ, Audrey and Herman Pfauth of Branchburg, NJ. Jay was also survived by his nephew/Godson, Gavin Pfauth, Readington, NJ.

Funeral services will be held by Pastor Todd Buurstra, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:30am at North Branch Reformed Church, 203 NJ-28, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with interment at Readington Reformed Church Cemetery. Visitaion will be held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
