Jennie Russo Obituary
AGE: 88 • Plainfield
Jennie Ramelli Russo 88, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Aristacare at Norwood Terrace in Plainfield. Mrs. Russo was born in Plainfield where she remained a life long resident. Jennie was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a seamstress retiring from Bronston Hat Company formerly of Plainfield. She was a communicant of St. Mary's RC Church of Plainfield.
Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Frank Russo Sr. in 2003, two sons, Louis in 2005, and John Russo in 2013. Surviving are two sons, Frank Jr. and wife Lynn of Pearl River, NY, Kevin and wife Phyllis of Wilmington, DE, and a daughter, Deborah Smith of New Milford, CT. Also surviving are two sisters, Anna Ramelli of Plainfield, and Dorothy Rotella of Westfield, two daughter-in-laws, Mary Lou Russo, Cathy Russo, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Services will start 9:00 a.m. Friday from the Scarpa Funeral Home 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Mary's RC Church in Plainfield. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Visiting hours will be Thursday, January 1, 2015, 2-4, and 7-9 p.m.
