MARY GLAZER
AGE: 83 PERTH AMBOY
Mary Glazer, 83, of Perth Amboy, passed away Monday, June 7, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Glazer was born in Perth Amboy to the late Stephen and Mary Kazai and resided in the city her whole life. She had been employed for 40 years at the former Indiana General Corp., Keasbey. Upon their closing, Mrs. Glazer went to work in the housekeeping department of the JFK Medical Center in Edison, where she was employed for over 20 years, retiring in January 2009. She was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Perth Amboy. Mrs. Glazer was an avid animal lover and greatly enjoyed all God's creatures.
She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine E. Hart and her husband Fred of Sewaren; her twin sister, Elizabeth Kovacs of Perth Amboy; her brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Alice Kasay of Perth Amboy; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Heather.
Visitation hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 10, with a Christian wake service being held at 7:30 p.m. at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 11 at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. service at the Hungarian Reformed Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Hopelawn. Memorial donations may be made to the Woodbridge Animal Shelter & Adoption Center, 195 Woodbridge Ave., Sewaren, NJ 07077.
