Fay Steele Obituary
She was born on October 8, 2023 the daughter of the late Uhler and Ruth Loller Haggerty in Earlville, MD. She grew up near Crystal Beach, where she liked to go swimming. She loved to read her bible every day. She enjoyed sewing and loved cooking, especially fudge. She was fond of going to picnics and baseball games. She was a member of the Chestertown Baptist Church, the Crossroads Community Service, and attended the Kent County Adult Daycare. For the last few years of her life she resided at the Resorts at Chester River Manor.
A funeral service will be held at Fellows Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home at 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, MD 21620 on Monday November 27, 2023 at 11:00 am with a viewing one hour prior and burial to follow at Bethel Chesapeake City Cemetery.
