Nancy Zeller Obituary
The daughter of Charles Mellor and O'Nora Cooling (nee Graham), Zeller was born on May 26, 1925 in Baltimore, Md. She graduated from Western High School in 1943. She married William W. Zeller.
They lived in Severna Park, Md. for many years., where they enjoyed their water-based community, attended Naval Academy football games and enjoyed their family, friends and pets.
William Zeller preceded her in death in 2003. After moving to Heron Point, Zeller enjoyed the small-town community of Chestertown, where she made many friends and was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
Zeller was a devoted daughter, niece, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend. She was especially devoted to her furry friends, including Riley, her beloved West Highland Terrier, who spent more than 16 years by her side, and Katie, a mixed breed cat that stayed with her in in final times.
Zeller is survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Friends and family may attend a viewing on Saturday, February 29, from 12 - 1 p.m. at Fellows Helfenbein and Newman Funeral Home, 130 Speer Rd., Chestertown, Md. A funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 101 N. Cross St., Chestertown, Md.

Our wonderful next door neighbor in Severna Park! So sorry we hadnt connected in a few years. I called a few weeks ago and was told she was in her last days. A wonderful lady!

Will will miss, Aunt Nancy along with your kind and loving heart, and great sense of humor. You are our last link to our dad and grandmother, and we loved your stories from your childhood with them. We loved spending time with you and Uncle Bill in Severna Park and at the shore. Then, when you moved to Chesterown, we enjoyed our visits and excursions around town. Rest easy as you are now with Bill and your sweet pup, Riley!

Nancy was our last living Mellor cousin from the generation before us. We spent wonderful times with her through the years, but especially after she moved to Heron Point in Chestertown. We were then able to spend more time with her at her cottage and her apartment, at our homes for holidays, for our 3-day Cousins' Weekends, and even on a trip to Florida to visit another Mellor cousin. She was vibrant, kind, smart, funny, even feisty, and she warmed us with her presence! Now we celebrate her being with The Lord!

She lived a good life. She was a loving wonderful person. She was the last of the Mellor family. Very sad indeed. May God Bless her.
