David Tomlinson Obituary
August 4, 1949 - December 29, 2015
Murrells Inlet
David Babb Tomlinson 66 of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice. He grew up in Olanta, SC, son of the late Don H. and Elinor Babb Tomlinson and was predeceased by his sister, Beth Tomlinson Fitch.David was affectionately known as "Wheatie". Mr. Tomlinson graduated from Francis Marion University and served in the U S Army was a member of Pawleys Island Presbyterian.
Survivors include his wife, Kimmie Eskridge Tomlinson; daughter, Ginger (Ted) Frick; son, Will (Amy) Fields; sister, Donna (Roy) Cromer, and a brother-in-law, Ben Fitch.
He is also survived by his adored grandchildren, Callie and Jake Moss, Donovan Fields, Austin, Lauren, and Carly Frick.
A Celebration of "Wheatie's" Life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Sunnyside Plantation,
3741 Hwy 17 Business in Murrells Inlet, SC, with the Rev. Harold P. Lewis officiating.
Visitation will be held immediately following the ceremony.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mr. Tomlinson's Memory to: Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church Youth Group, 9967 Ocean Hwy, Pawleys Island, SC 29585 or Belin Memorial United Methodist Church Youth Group, 4183 Highway 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
